Lake Area Office Products
A Local Business with World Class Products and Services

Lake Area Office Products first opened for business back in 2000 as a small, home-based business remanufacturing toner cartridges and providing repairs for office machines, such as printers, copiers, and faxes.

Our approach was simple: Offer top quality products at low prices and back it all up with a level of service that none of our competitors could match.

Over the next four years, that approach proved so successful, that owner John Ney found it necessary to add staff and relocate to a larger location on Kirkman Street.

Even as the business grew, John never lost sight of the factors that “brought us to the dance”—and made sure that as a company, we never lost our commitment to the quality and service that is so valued by our customers.

LAOP continued to grow and in 2005, we became a business partner with Toshiba and Samsung, adding their lines of copiers and flexible leasing options for customer convenience.

The following year, after continued growth, we moved to larger quarters yet again, this time on East Prien Lake Road. This move allowed us to add Sharp copiers to our line of office machines. We also brought in a selection of used office furniture and introduced temporary leasing on used office furniture and equipment.

Business continued strong, as the company expanded its office furniture offering. Today, we are able to provide furniture solutions for businesses of all types and sizes—from the one or two-person organization to major corporations with 50 offices or more.

And the company continues to grow, as we added staff and moved to a new, 12,000 square foot building on Enterprise Boulevard.

What started out as a home-based business back in 2000 has today become a strong, multi-faceted organization with the resources and expertise to provide cost-effective office solutions on multiple levels.

We’ve seen many changes along the way, but we’ve never lost of sight of the values that have driven LAOP from Day One. Outstanding customer service, quality products and top value are just as important today as they were when we first opened for business!
